The Militia Enrollment consists of a list of 2,301 men who enrolled in the militia from 1873 to 1874. Each entry includes the enrollee’s name and residence.

The County Office of Planning Photograph, Slide and Film Collection consists of 1,264 photographs, approximately 3,600 slides and two films. The contents of the collection visually document Santa Clara County from 1906 to 1980, with the bulk of the collection ranging from 1950 to 1970. The collection contains aerial views of the County, commercial development, housing, historical landmarks, industries, parks, public facilities, transportation, agriculture, and people. The collection concentrates on the development of the county, such as new housing developments, commercial developments, and park and recreation development. The purpose of this collection may have been to collect visuals for brochures and presentations. Currently only the photographs have been cataloged.

The County Wills Collection consists of approximately 10,000 wills filed with the County Clerk. The wills date from the early twentieth century into the 1970s, with the bulk of the wills from the years after 1940.

Yet, despite this progress, homelessness continues to grow. For every homeless family or individual connected to housing in the County, between two and three more are experiencing homelessness for the very first time.

The percentage of child support payment represents the share of child support dollars collected of those owed for minor children in Santa Clara County from Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2015 to FFY2022. It is a federal performance measure tracked and reported by the State of California Department of Child Support Services. It is a direct indicator of the Department of Child Support Service's ability to increase collections. This number is benchmarked against the state average to compare this Department's performance against other counties in California.
